Sharks endure in Showgrounds thriller

On a wild and woolly Saturday afternoon the East Fremantle Sharks held off the Claremont Tigers for a thrilling five point victory at the Showgrounds.

The punters that braved the Perth Storm were put through a tense and often entertaining affair, as the Sharks sealed their 6.17.53 to 7.6.48 win at the death from a Fraser Perry mark in the goal square.

East Fremantle dominated general play with 59 inside fifties to Claremont’s 32 -- but the Tigers were able to match the Sharks on the scoreboard with accuracy from their set shots, and by creating space and scoring opportunities on the counter.

THE MEMBERS DRAW HAS JACKPOTTED TO $1200!

The Friday night Member's Draw has jackpotted to $1200 but you must be there to collect it.

On Friday night, May 20th, Toby Field’s name was drawn out but he wasn’t in attendance to collect the jackpot of $1150, so the draw has now jackpotted to $1200.

The draw takes place every Friday night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm in the main bar.

Seven Sharks named in State Squad

The Sharks impressive start to the season has been heightened, following the selection of seven East Fremantle players in the WAFL State Squad.

Team's effort lifting sneaky Peake

Sharks and Demons take one each in Colts and Development League
