Sharks players Brett Peake and Andrew Stephen enjoyed a day out on Saturday at Steel Blue Oval as they featured in Western Australia’s dominating 134 point win over Tasmania.
Andrew Stephen was rewarded with co Vice Captain honours for the contest, helping lead Western Australia to their fourth straight win against Australia's state leagues in his fourth appearance for the Black Swans.

The WAFL State Squad will feature two Sharks in Saturday’s match against Tasmania at Steel Blue Oval, Bassendean.
Veteran State WAFL player Andrew Stephen has been recognised for his leadership abilities, named vice-captain of the side. This will be Andrew's fourth WAFL State appearance since 2012.

On Friday 3rd June the Sharks and The Left Bank hosted the inaugural Foundation Derby Lunch in the River Bar at The Left Bank Bar & Café. The Friday night Member's Draw has jackpotted to $1300 but you must be there to collect it.
On Friday night, June 3rd, June Gill’s name was drawn out but she wasn’t in attendance to collect the jackpot of $1250, so the draw has now jackpotted to $1300.

The Sharks have continued an improbable run for the away side in Fremantle Derbies, defeating league leaders South Fremantle by 39 points today at Fremantle Oval.

Jarrad Jansen will make his AFL debut for the Brisbane Lions this weekend wearing prestigious number 16 made famous by star forward Jonathon Brown.
The 21 year old was originally drafted to Geelong in 2013, playing only one game with the club in the NAB Cup.
Jansen moved to the Brisbane during the 2015 offseason and will be Lions fourth debutant this year.

The Gold Coast Suns have travelled to Perth twice this season, with two very different results, but the one thing that was consistent was the support they received from training staff from East Fremantle Football Club. Earlier in the year, while our players were enjoying a weekend off with a bye, some of the training staff continued to work, assisting the GC Suns and worked a double shift last weekend to support both East Fremantle and the Suns once again.
