Vale Jim Hurst

Jim Hurst was a successful and outstanding team manager at East Fremantle from 1983 until 1985.

EFFC participated in the finals in all 4 years including 3 Grand Finals.

He was also the West Coast Eagles Inaugural team manager in 1986/87 and of several WA State sides.

All those who worked with Jim cherished every moment  with him.

2020 Fixtures

East Fremantle Football Club will kick off their 2020 Optus WAFL Season on Saturday July 18th against port rivals South Fremantle.

The West Australian Football Commission finalised the new fixtures today, with every team playing each other once across nine rounds and the top four teams on the ladder compete in a three-week Finals Series.

2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season to start July 18

The start date for the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season has been brought forward to July 18 following today’s State Government announcement that COVID-19 group gathering restrictions are scheduled to be completely lifted on this date.

WAFC Executive Manager - WAFL & Football Operations Scott Baker said that the State Government announcement paved the way for WAFL and WAFLW games to start on July 18 without any restrictions on crowd size, which was a driving factor for the competition and clubs.

Keep 122 Years of Tradition Alive: Final Update

In just 45 days the WAFL community pulled together to support the East Fremantle Football Club in a way we could have never imagined.

We launched our GoFundMe page on May 1st with the hope of reaching the target of $100,000. In the first 48 hours we’d received over $22,000 and by the first week we made it to 50% of our target.
