Sharks winning weekend across 5 teams

Tuesday, August 16, 2016 - 1:52 PM

The Sharks capped of a winning weekend with two very important semi-final wins for our Women's sides on Sunday. The wins followed the 3 from 3 on Saturday from the Men's sides, including a dominant performance by our League boys

The East Fremantle Women's League team, having lost their last encounter to South Fremantle, knew the game would be no walk over. Inaccurate scoring in the first half kept the Bulldogs in the game, but the Sharks girls put their foot down in the Premiership Quarter and ran out strong winners in the end. Impressive displays from Latoya Wallace who worked tirelessly to set up team mates, returning forward Jessica Wuetschner who kicked 5 goals and the Sharks backs who kept AFL Brisbane Lions Marquee Player Sabrina Frederick-Traub quiet ensured the Sharks progressed to the Preliminary Final in impressive fashion.
