The annual NAB AFL Auskick East Fremantle Gala Day hosted at Rossmoyne Junior Football Club took place on the weekend. There were 115 teams in attendance, with all 14 Auskick centres within the East Fremantle District represented. Totalling to over 800 kids throughout the day.

Four WA players have been rewarded for strong performances in the 2023 AFL National Championships U18 Girls with All Australian selection.

Evie Cowcher, Zipporah ‘Zippy’ Fish, Molly O’Hehir and Kaitlyn Srhoj were named in the 23-player team.

Cowcher was WA’s MVP for the Championships and as a bottom-age player earned selection in the 2023 AFL National Development Championships – U16 Girls All-Australian team earlier this year.
