Match Preview: Sharks v Lions
The Sharks will head to Medibank Stadium on Saturday to take on the top of the table Lions in what will be a tough contest for all 3 sides. The league team is bolstered by the return of several players from the development league and injury. Jayden Schofield will be making a return to the league side after two solid performances in the Development League, whilst Boston Williamson returns after an extended stint on the sidelines with a calf strain and Liam Anthony, who was a late withdrawal last week with general soreness, both return to the side. Matt Baseden has been named on the extended bench and could be the 18th debutant for the Sharks, along with Andrew Stokes.
Jake Schleicher is out for the rest of the season with a fractured cheekbone and broken nose, while Carl Green and Jack Perham will return to the Development League. Emerging ruckman Jack Fletcher will also be missing the remainder of the season, after suffering a finger tendon injury. The depth of the Development League continues to be tested with over 20 season ending injuries amongst the senior list.
The Colts will be looking to secure a finals spot, their first under Mark Foster, when they take on last placed Subiaco. With all PSA boys returning we hope that the boys can get back to playing four quarters of football.
