Sharks announce new CEO and President
Chief Executive Officer
The East Fremantle Football Club has appointed Todd Shimmon as Chief Executive Officer of the Club. Todd joins East Fremantle from Claremont Football Club, where he was CEO for 14 years.
Todd began his football career in the East Fremantle District, where he played juniors for Ardross. He played Colts for the East Fremantle Football Club in 1981 and 1982 before switching to Claremont Colts/ Reserves for 2 years. Todd returned to East Fremantle district to play his senior playing career with Applecross, playing 8 years with Applecross Sunday Football Club while fulfilling a number of administration roles.
Todd currently resides in Leeming with wife Leanne and daughter Ruby.
The EFFC Board of Directors congratulates Todd on his appointment and wishes him well in his new role.
Board of Directors
The nominations for the East Fremantle Football Club Board of Directors closed at 4pm today The Club wishes to announce that Con Tripi has retired from the board after 3 years as President and a total of 12 years on the Board. Director Rod Cronan is also retiring after 8 years on the Board. We thank both Con and Rod for their many years of service, both on the Board and in other roles. The time and commitment they have given to East Fremantle, not to mention financial support as sponsors, is invaluable and very much appreciated by all of the staff and members.
We congratulate Mark Stewart on his appointment as President, David Edinger and Steve Miguel on their re-election to the board, and welcome new board members Kim Chatfield and Michael Stork. All were elected unopposed. More information on our new board members will be published next week.
