127TH EFFC AGM

The East Fremantle Football Club held its 127th AGM at Carnaby’s Café, Bar and Restaurant on Wednesday evening, with over 140 members in attendance. The Club welcomed Adrian Bromage as the new CEO, who shared his vision for the future, including updates on the new facility and the exciting direction the club is taking, particularly on game days.

A special congratulations to Damien Condon, who was inducted as a Life Member of the EFFC for his outstanding contribution to the club.

With Mark Stewart retiring after 19 years of dedicated service to the club, including 10 years as President, the presidency was up for election. Congratulations to Ennio Tavani on his appointment as the new President. Ennio spoke passionately about the club's positive direction, expressing excitement for the future and confidence in the board’s ability to move the club forward with the new facility and a renewed sense of purpose.

We also extend our thanks to all the individuals who nominated for the election of President and Directors for 2025, for their dedication to the club.

In the election of President and Directors for 2025–2026, the following were elected to the board:

  • Ennio Tavani (President)
  • 373 votes: Jonathan Stagg
  • 338 votes: Con Tripi (re-elected)
  • 321 votes: Darren Gasper
  • 307 votes: Tony Micale

Senior Men’s Coach Bill Monaghan and Senior Women’s Coach Matt Templeton provided updates on their respective teams. Both coaches expressed optimism for the season ahead, with pre-season already underway and both programs heading in a positive direction. It’s good to be back at Shark Park.

Welcome back to the club and to his new role as our club's General Football Manager, Shane Woewodin.

Bob Uittenbroek, on behalf of the club, thanked Mark Stewart for his incredible 19 years of service at the club and 10 years as President, acknowledging his significant contribution to the club’s success.

The AGM was a highly positive event, with a strong sense of excitement and optimism for the future. The club looks forward to continuing its progress with a renewed focus and a bright outlook.
