The East Fremantle Football Club is thrilled to announce that Adrian Bromage has been appointed to the role of General Manager Football Operations, beginning this week. Bromage, a former East Fremantle League Premiership player, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Sharks at an exciting time in the club’s history.

Bromage’s career in football is both extensive and impressive. As an experienced football development manager through his time at AFL Victoria, he has excelled in areas such as coaching, club and league development, talent identification and academies, as well as fan engagement and diversity initiatives.

Bromage is no stranger to the East Fremantle Football Club. From 1996 to 1998, he played for the League team, awarded both the Sandover Medal and the Simpson Medal in the Sharks 1998 Premiership campaign.

Reflecting on his new role, Bromage shared his enthusiasm: “It’s an incredible feeling to return to the club that gave me so many opportunities and fond memories as a player. I’m eager to use my football and business experience to bring stability and support to our coaches, players, and volunteers across all levels.”

East Fremantle President Mark Stewart expressed his excitement for Bromage’s appointment, stating: “It’s fantastic to welcome someone with such deep ties and connections to the Sharks and vast experience back to the club. Adrian’s dedication, leadership, and understanding of our club and the game will be pivotal in driving our club forward.”

Chief Executive Officer Addy Wetzler echoed those sentiments, stating: “We are delighted to finalise this key appointment as we look ahead to the 2025 season. Adrian completes our football operations department, joining a resilient and high-performing team who are driven to achieve future success.”

With Bromage stepping into this critical role, the East Fremantle Football Club is well-positioned for a successful and bright future. As Bromage noted: “I encourage all our sponsors, members, and supporters to rally behind this proud and traditional club as we move forward together into an exciting new chapter.”
