What Type of Shark Are You?
What type of Shark are you?
What a season it has been! The East Fremantle Football Club has soared to new heights in 2023, and your support has been instrumental in our success.
An Epic Season for The Sharks
We are the first Club to win the WAFL and WAFL Women’s Premierships in the same season, with the Men’s side breaking a 25-year drought, reinforcing our position as the most successful Club in WAFL history with the Men reaching 30 League Premierships and the Women securing their second Premiership in five years of the competition.
Our Reserves and Colts teams made finals, and our Rogers team narrowly missed out on percentage. Our consistency across grades was recognised with the Rodriguez Shield, presented to the Club on Sandover Medal night.
Our WAFL side also travelled to Geraldton and Broome, recording wins over Peel and Claremont, respectively.
Shark Park Update
An incredible season made all the more remarkable by the challenges faced through the renovation of Shark Park. I applaud our players, coaches and support staff for their flexibility and resilience, along with our members and fans who have remained steadfast in their support.
The new facility will provide a significant change for our Club, benefitting our players and the wider community and improving our ability to offer a top-tier game day experience. Whilst the Club is still working through the finer details with the Town of East Fremantle and Belgravia Group (who will run the new venue), we know this will be the best venue in the competition and the envy of all other clubs.
