Geraldton here we come, Round 14 WAFL v Peel Thunder - JK Foundation Cup
The East Fremantle Football Club are pleased to announce we are coming back to Geraldton to play our Round 14 WAFL fixture against Peel Thunder to play for the JK Foundation Cup, sponsored by TMS, Technical Maintenance and Support, Webberton.
East Fremantle Football Club have partnered with the GFNL, the City of Greater Geraldton, the WAFL and the AFL Rams to grow the game by raising funds to support the local GNFL Junior Football clubs to subsidise junior registrations for the 2024 season.
The WAFL Round 14 match will be played on Sunday July 16th at Wonthella Oval, home of the Towns Football Club. Match day will feature a curtain raiser match between GNFL League teams Towns Football Club and Northampton Football Club.
Match day activations include special appearances from AFL greats Josh Kennedy and Mark Lecras; Shredder the EFFC Mascot, giveaways from EFFC Sponsors including MGM Bulk, I Drilling, Retravision and Forty Winks Melville/O’Connor and don’t miss your opportunity to purchase your match day entertainment package that offers match day entry and food & beverage available from the EFFC Online store.
Entry will be $15, $10 pensioner/concession kids under 16 are free.
We encourage everyone in the Mid-West to get around this game and enjoy a great community event in Geraldton.

EFFC President Mark Stewart said " We are proud of our connection to our Regional Zone in the Mid-West and continue to identify areas where we can invest more resources and development, by playing our fixture in Geraldton we hope by donating our gate to the GNFL assists them to grow the game.
We continue to invest in Mid-West Talent in our male and female Talent Academy, working closely with the Mid-West Academy of Sport led by Beau Walker and Nathan Johanson. We have had record numbers of male and female Mid -West players travel to Perth to debut for the Sharks this season.
This year we also welcomed a new staff member, Clinton Bolton as our Mid-West Indigenous Liaison Officer to enhance our Indigenous support in the Mid-West, located in Geraldton.”

Open to all ages, EFFC players will conduct a 2-hour clinic. Giveaways thanks to MGM Bulk and I Drilling. Special guest appearances with Josh Kennedy, Harry Taylor, Andrew Lockyer and City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn.

Saturday Clinic – Mullewa Town Oval, 8.30am – 9.30am
Open to all ages, EFFC players will conduct a 1-hour clinic. GNFL Fixture - Mullewa v Brigades Colts game.
Saturday – Mid-West Indigenous Cultural Awareness Tour
EFFC Players and staff, WAFL and key partners tour of local Mid-West Indigenous sites and education.
Sunday – EFFC v PTFC
Go into the draw to win one of two mascots for the day. Two (2) young Sharks will have the chance to be our Junior Club Mascot at the Round 14 WAFL East Fremantle v Peel Thunder game. The lucky Mascot’s will receive an EFFC jumper of their own with both the mascot and (2) guardian’s will receive match day entry and change room access to get a behind the scenes view before the game.
