East Fremantle’s Koen Sanchez AFL Grand Final Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

East Fremantle’s Koen Sanchez has been selected in a squad of 48 to play in a NAB AFL Futures Match at the MCG as a curtain-raiser to the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final.   

The game will feature the best under-17 talent from across the country and will provide an opportunity for next year’s draft prospects to display their talents on the AFL’s biggest stage.

Koen is a member of our 2022 Colts squad, hailing from the Applecross Mt Pleasant Junior Football Club and Wesley College.   

Koen entered the East Fremantle pathway in the U15’s program before progressing through the Futures and now Colts.  Koen represented Western Australia in the Under 17’s Championships in 2021 before playing two games for WA in this year’s U18’s carnival as a bottom ager.
