Rd 7 - Colts Wrap Up
East Fremantle returned to the winners list this past Monday recording a 29 point victory over cross-town rivals South Fremantle.
The Sharks midfield led by example in the opening term around the ball leading to a foul goal first quarter. The home side responded with consecutive goals to start the second quarter before majors to Ben Praxl and Cam Gillies steadied the Sharks heading into half time.
The third quarter again saw the Sharks control field position with Xavier Bradshaw-Pini kicking two of the side’s four goals for the quarter. Both teams wasted their chances in the final term with East Fremantle recording an 11 goal to 7 victory.
Better players were Luca Gangemi (28 disposals, 7 marks and 6 tackles), Luke Yeo (28 touches, 9 tackles and 6 score involvements), Jayke Scott (17 disposals, 2 contested marks, 24 hit outs, 5 clearances and 7 I50’s), Chadd Dunscombe (13 disposals, 11 tackles and 4 I50’s) and Xavier Bradshaw-Pini (10 disposals, 5 marks, 5 score involvements and 4 goals).
The Colts return to the WACA coming up against West Perth this Saturday at 9.10 am
