Round 14 - Rogers Cup Wrap Up
The East Fremantle Rogers Cup side continued their winning ways on Sunday against East Perth, running away 10.13 – 73 to 2.3 – 15 victors.
A four-goal second quarter sealed the deal for the Sharks to put them up by 35 points at half-time. Four goals for the remainder of the game saw East Fremantle cruise to a 58-point victory.
Grace Freeman was lively up forward for the Sharks, kicking 3 goals and 3 behinds, whilst Nicole Taylor-Thorpe and Jayda Jones each contributed 2 goals.
Caylen Crook was instrumental in the midfield for the Sharks, being judged best on ground, whilst Gisela Zumpano worked hard all day. Natasha Entwistle and Taya Chambers were also strong contributors.
The Rogers Cup side take on Subiaco for Round 15 on Sunday 29th May at 10am at New Choice Homes Park.
