NOTICE OF 2021 EFFC AGM

East Fremantle Football Club Members are advised that the 2021 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th December 2021, commencing at 6pm at New Choice Homes Park.

Items on the Agenda:

•            Confirmation of minutes of the 2020 AGM

•            Receiving and considering the 2021 Annual Report

•            President’s Report

•            Financial statements and Auditor's Report

•            The election of Board members for 2022 to 2023

•            Appointment of Auditors’

•            And confirming the election of Life Members

In accordance with the Club Constitution, nominations are hereby called for the following:

Directors - 2-year term (Four (4) positions)

The retiring persons are:

•         John Ipsen (Vice President) – retiring, not nominating for re-election

•         Steve Nugent (Vice President) – (eligible for re-election)

•         Adam Drake- Brockman - (eligible for re-election)

•         Flora Furness - (eligible for re-election)

To complement the current board and support the objectives of the Club, it would be preferable that nominees possess expertise in one or more of the following areas: governance, finance and accounting, marketing and media, football and business industry experience.

Nominees should be prepared to commit between 15 and 30 hours per month to Board duties (excluding home and away game day attendance), An extract from the Board’s Governance Charter outlining the role of directors and Code of Conduct is provided below.

Nomination forms can be obtained from the EFFC Admin office, by emailing admin@effc.com.au or telephoning (08) 9339 5533.

Nominees must be a current financial member and should include a brief summary of their background which will be posted on the club website.  Nominations must be on the approved form, signed by two members eligible to vote as proposer and seconder, and signed in acceptance by the nominee.

Nominations close at 4pm, Friday 12 November 2021.
