EFFC Colts Preliminary Final - Sunday 9.20 am @ Fremantle Community Bank Oval
In the second week of finals action, East Fremantle Colts travelled to Leederville Oval to take on East Perth.
The Royals started well playing the majority of the quarter in their front half with the Sharks backs holding up strongly. A fairly even second quarter ensued with Kaleb Smith kicking the sole goal for the Sharks. Six scoring shots to two in the third quarter for East Fremantle laid the platform in the final term to pull away and record a 17 point victory.
Better players on the day included:
Jed Hagan – 18 disposals at 89% efficiency and 7 tackles
Roc Hughes – 8 disposals down back winning important one on one contests
Kale Paton – 2 spoils, 1 smother keeping his opponent goal less
Jack Williams – 17 disposals, 9 marks, 7 hit outs and two goals
Taj Woewodin – 19 disposals, 3 Inside 50’s and 4 tackles
Corey Warner – 21 disposals, 3 clearances and 6 Inside 50’s
The Colts move on to play Swan Districts in Sunday’s preliminary final at Fremantle Community Bank Oval. Bounce down is 9:20 am
