2020 WAFLW Fixture Release
Fixtures have been finalised for the 2020 Optus WAFL Women’s Premiership season, with the Sharks kicking off their campaign against Claremont on Saturday May 2nd at New Choice Homes Park.
It’s set to be an exciting year for the reigning premiers off the back of their inaugural premiership in 2019 and their 2018 WAWFL premiership.
The Sharks dominated the finals series, defeating minor premiers Subiaco before registering a 33-point victory against Swan Districts in the Grand Final.
Highlights in the fixture include Subiaco in round 3, before the Grand Final rematch at Shark Park in Round 4.
The competition’s second season will see the five WAFLW teams play each other three times across 15-rounds, with a three-week Finals Series culminating in a televised Grand Final on the 7 Network.
