Three Sharks selected in U18 All-Australian side
The East Fremantle Football Club is delighted to announce the selection of three Sharks into the Under 18 All Australian Squad.
Luke Jackson, Jeremy Sharp and Trent Rivers have been recognised for their strong performances in the National Championship, that saw WA take out the title for the first time in ten years.
Luke Jackson was named in the middle as the premier ruckman of the competition, finishing a close second to teammate Deven Robertson in the Larke Medal (the best player in the AFL U18s National Championships).
Jeremy Sharp averaged more than 20 touches a game and that was enough to find the wingman on the bench of the coveted side.
Vice-Captain of the WA side, Trent Rivers, was also named on the bench following his brilliant ball use during the campaign.
Overall, WA had six players and a coach inducted into the best team of the carnival.
