Preview | Round 9 v East Perth
The Sharks face East Perth this Sunday at Leederville Oval for Round 9 of the 2019 Optus WAFL Season.
With both sides finding some form in recent weeks, it’s set to be a tantalising match in wild weather.
Despite dominating the first half last week, the Sharks will need to sustain a four-quarter effort to get over the Royals at home.
East Fremantle will look to experienced players in Nick Kommer, Jarrad Jansen and Cameron Eardley to lead the way again, after applying 33 tackles between themselves last week.
Into the extended side this week comes James Harrold, Josef Hebiton, Max Murphy and Jack Perham.
After pulling out all the stops to come from behind against derby rivals last week, our Reserves side will be looking for consecutive wins. Currently, The Royals are one spot ahead of East Fremantle on the ladder so it should be a great game.
In the first match of the day, our young Colts side will be determined to return to the winner’s circle. It has been a tough run for the Colts, who have missed some of their best through State and PSA commitments. Last week, inaccuracy in front of goal proved costly so it will be a big focus for the Sharks this week.
