Crichton’s Curtain Call
Following on from the hype surrounding Andrew Stephen’s retirement and farewell match, an unsung hero will also pull on the Blue and White for the last time against Swan Districts this weekend.
Jesse Crichton, recruited from Werribee to East Fremantle at the start of the 2016 season, has decided to hang up the boots. Soon to be father Crichton, travels from Mundijong three times a week to play for the Sharks. He has shown amazing commitment and great on-field leadership in his time with the Club. His durability has also been important for the Sharks, in a time when injuries have been a curse, not missing a game in his two seasons.
The left-footer has played a variety of roles over the two years, from a defender, to midfielder and on many occasions, the role of nullifying the opposition’s most damaging player.
Jesse, everyone at the Sharks wishes you and your family all the very best with what lies ahead and would like to thank you for your commitment to the Club over your two years here.
