Sharks Secure Another Exciting Young Talent
The Sharks are thrilled to welcome twenty-year-old, Nathan Fahey to the Club.
Originally from Halls Head Junior Football Club, Fahey made his way through Peel’s development program, clocking six league appearances in the WAFL for the Peel Thunder, despite the side being laden with AFL talent.
Fahey, primarily a strong marking forward with the ability to play at either end, said he is excited to play with the Sharks in 2017.
“I’m looking forward to being part of a good club with a good culture,” he said.
“I’ve heard lots about the culture at the club and the good people here.”
After meeting League coach Rob Wiley during the State 16s a few years back, the pair have kept in regular contact.
“He’s been a good mentor to me throughout my juniors and right up to where I am now.”
Fahey made his league debut in Round 2, 2015 and managed to boot two majors.
“I can’t wait to just get stuck into to it with the boys,” Fahey said.
