Great news for Julian Locantro

Julian Locantro will be heading to the comforts of home by the end of the week after a remarkable recovery from surgery following Sunday’s head injury early in the Development League match. With surgeons and specialists giving Julian the thumbs up after three days of medical checks, he will make a full recovery, which is just fantastic news. It is not surprising, especially to the Locantro family, that Julian has shown such determination and resilience with his recovery after seeing their son deal with a football career plagued by injuries.
When the Club visited him in hospital yesterday afternoon Julian was in good spirits and has certainly not lost his sense of humour, but was looking forward to getting home to continue his rehab.
Julian and the Locantro family have been overwhelmed by the hundreds of texts and messages of support and wanted to let not just the East Fremantle Football Club, but the entire “football community” for their support and well wishes. The family stated “We are just grateful that Julian is on the mend and that he will make a full recovery from this unfortunate accident and whilst that was and will always be our priority, we also acknowledge the unbelievable support from those both inside and out of football circles.”
