Sharks host Auskick Gala Day

The East Fremantle Auskick Gala Day was a fantastic day for all of our young Auskick participants in the East Fremantle District to play against other Auskick centres at ATOM Stadium. This gave them an opportunity to emulate some of the senior sharks players who are their role models. The day was strongly supported by East Fremantle Football Club with the whole colts group assisting with the umpiring on the day and having as much fun being out there as the players!

Overall it was a huge success with nearly 60 teams taking part across the day and around 800-1000 participants with well over 2000 in attendance including spectators etc. We'd like to thank the East Fremantle Past players and Delaware North for their assistance on the day by running the canteen and coffee van and helping throughout. The weather was also kind to us which made for a fantastic day of football with impressive skills on display from our next generation of East Fremantle Stars! Most importantly though, the games were played in terrific spirit and everyone thoroughly enjoyed day.

The East Fremantle Auskick Gala Day highlighted the positive involvement the East Fremantle Football Club, East Fremantle District and the Auskick program have in building stronger communities!
