GROUND ANNOUNCER 2023 EFFC WACA HOME GAMES

The Sharks are on the lookout for their next match day events team member. This position would be responsible for Match Day ground announcer duties.

  • No experience necessary
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Interest in WAFL Football
  • Available 2023 WAFL/W Season (weekends)
  • Comfortable making announcements and engaging with crowd, playing audio etc

2023 Sharks Futures Update

Over the last couple of weeks our Futures boys have participated in two hard fought scratch matches to prepare  for their upcoming carnival.

President Mark Stewart was part of a special site visit today where Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman announced the State Government has boosted its investment in the East Fremantle Oval Precinct Redevelopment project, with a $1.3 million Lotterywest Grant for an all-abilities nature play space and skate zone.

Gomes Given Green Light to Continue as Sharks Captain

East Fremantle skipper Ashleigh Gomes has described being appointed captain of the club for a third consecutive season as an honour.

A decorated player with the Sharks, Gomes is the club’s reigning fairest and best winner and finished equal second behind teammate Sharon Wong in the 2022 Dhara Kerr Medal count.

She was also signed as an injury replacement player with the West Coast Eagles AFLW side last season, playing the final two games.

WAFLW Sharks Seek Redemption

New East Fremantle WAFLW coach Steph Walding isn’t planning on implementing drastic on field changes in 2023.
