Larissa Versaci made her first appearance for the season having recovered from an ankle injury while Mylee Leitch and Samara Pluschke returned to the side.
After a sluggish start last week, the Sharks put together an improved opening quarter laying 21 first term tackles and kicking three goals, through the boot of Anjelique Raison, Chloe Reilly and Gabby O’Sullivan, from five forward entries.
East Fremantle controlled the field possession in the second quarter however Subiaco’s defence stood resolute before a front half turnover and subsequent Mylee Leitch goal put the Sharks ahead by 10 points at half-time.
The Lions bridged the margin to four points heading into the final term before Raison’s second major for the game extended the Sharks margin to 12 points. Subiaco weren’t done yet however the Sharks managed the game in the dying minutes to record a six point victory.
