Good Friday Footy | Round 3 Match Preview

The Sharks head south for our Round 3 Good Friday clash against Peel Thunder at David Grays Arena.

There have been some hard-fought contests between the two sides in recent years and if our pre-season clash was anything to go by, it should be a great game.  

Into the 25 this week comes Blaine Boekhorst, Milan Murdock, Cameron Eardley, Sean Fletcher, Michael Tassone, Zach Jackson and Tom Monaghan. If selected, Monaghan will make his League debut for the club. A Rostrata junior, Monaghan made his way through Sharks development pathway, debuting for the colts in 2017. The dashing defender with good pace, forced his way into the side, through consistent performances off the back of a strong preseason.

After 12 months on the sideline with a torn ACL, Boekhorst returns to the league side. His football experience is a welcomed inclusion for the Sharks going up against the AFL laden Peel Thunder.   

The Reserves will be looking to cement their first win of the season after two narrow losses.

Our Colts will look to continue their form against a tough Peel line up, despite missing some players through State commitments.
