Level 1 AFL Academy Squad

The East Fremantle Football Club is proud to announce that Luke Jackson, one of the Club’s 16s Academy players and WA State representative, has been selected into the 2017-18 Level 1 AFL Academy Squad.

Luke began his football pathway with the Bullcreek Leeming Football Club before being selected into East Fremantle’s 14s Development Squad. He juggled his interest and success with Basketball throughout his time in the Sharks Academy, right up to our 16s squad where he was then selected for the WA State 16s Team.

Luke’s sporting prowess and athleticism has been acknowledged across multiple sports. He has represented the State in Basketball, in age groups above his own, before making his SBL debut this year with the Willetton Tiger; a tremendous effort.

An outstanding individual that loves to learn, Luke makes the most of every opportunity he gets. Having seen him begin in the 14s development squad to now, we have certainly watched him grow into a talented and professional young man.

We look forward to seeing Luke continue to develop and can’t wait to see him in the Blue and White next season.
