WAFLW HEAD OF FOOTBALL
The East Fremantle Football Club seek expressions of interest for a talented and driven individual to lead the development and growth of East Fremantle’s WAFLW coaches and football staff along with the Club’s metro and regional zone. Please note this is a part time role.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the coaching development and culture within East Fremantle’s WAFLW program to ensure best practice methods for training and match day environments
- Lead the education and support of female football community coaches within East Fremantle’s metro and regional district
- Promote the Club and its brand
- Relationship management across diverse stakeholder groups
About You
To succeed in this role you will need to possess:
- Minimum Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (Essential)
- Knowledge of the football industry and the various stakeholders (Desirable)
- Experience in a female football program (Desirable)
- Proficiency with programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and HUDL (Essential)
- Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal (Essential)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills (Essential)
- Demonstrative ability to manage operations in a timely, organised and professional manner (Essential)
- Demonstrative leadership capability (Essential)
- Ability to provide feedback to coaches, players and staff in an open and professional manner (Essential)
- Ability to think clearly in complex and pressured situations (Essential)
- Organised and well prepared with an understanding of structure and process (Essential)
About Us
East Fremantle‘s WAFLW program possesses a proud 34 year history beginning as the Melville Warriors as one of four clubs that initiated the West Australian Women’s Football League.
The program has a successful history winning 8 premierships, along with 20 AFLW draftees.
