U15’s Report

Author: East Fremantle Football Club

Over the last eight weeks our 15s talent program has been training together to participate in their annual July school holiday carnival.

The group of 52 players have had an extremely busy schedule training two nights per week with the squad , whilst also juggling their own club and school football, and some even having state schoolboys training.

Over the last couple of days, the boys got to show all their learnings on the field in games against Perth and West Perth. Both days proved very successful with our teams displaying some excellent skills and outstanding teamwork that enabled them to be very competitive in their games. Most pleasing during the games was that it was very clear the players executed the game plan that was taught to them over the previous weeks at training from the coaching group.

The program standards and learnings has set the foundations for the boys to now progress further with the EFFC.

A big Thankyou to the outstanding coaching group who were very well led by Head Coach Ashley James, and assistants Amanda Ingraham, Ryan Bacich and Luke McCorkell. Also a special mention to Beth Ewens who kindly donated her time as Head Trainer for the games.

All in all, a successful program. We now look forward to watching these talented youngsters progress in the talent pathway with EFFC.
