James Depane appointed 2024 Futures Coach

The EFFC would like to announce James Depane as our 2024 Futures (Under 16’s) coach.

Over many years James has gained strong experience in the game firstly as a player for the club and in more recent times he has expanded his knowledge in coaching.

James has had previous experience coaching various talent squads, coached in the Perth Football League, coached the EF WAFLW reserves team in 2022 and has just completed the 2023 season as an assistant coach with our colts’ program.

James is passionate about developing our youngsters to be good players , but also great young men. He is an approachable, knowledgeable individual who will drive our clubs’ standards and values within a very strong program.

Outside of football James is a dedicated family man , who has strong community links with his employment assisting in the disability sector.

James is excited to be appointed in the role and quotes “what a fantastic opportunity to be coaching in such an exciting program with a club that I am so passionate about”

James will be joined in the program by Anthony Yerkovich , Tony Urquhart and Luke Wilson as his assistance coaches.

The program will commence training in late November.

The club would also like to take the opportunity to thank Andrew Browne who has filled the Futures coaching role for several seasons. Andrew provided quality coaching and leadership throughout his time and it is most pleasing to see some of the players Andrew has coached oved the years progressing to become regular senior players for the club.
