VALE - LEN ANDERSON
The East Fremantle Football Club was deeply saddened to hear the news that Len Anderson passed away on September 8th, 2019.
Lenny was a proud and passionate East Fremantle man, dedicating his time to the Club well after his playing career.
Between 1956-1963, Lenny played 108 games for The Sharks, including the 1957 Premiership.
He was East Fremantle’s leading goal kicker for four years between 1957-1960 and in 1979, was given Life Membership of the Club. In 2002, he was made Life Member of the WAFL for his contribution to the game.
Lenny spent twenty-one years on the East Fremantle Board, serving as the Vice-President for seventeen of those years.
In recent times, Len enjoyed the connection with our Colts and filled the roll of Team Manager for a number of years.
Lenny will be fondly remembered for bleeding Blue & White and will be missed by all at The Club. Our deepest sympathy goes to Fay and the family.
Rest In Peace.
