Preview | Round 15 vs Thunder
East Fremantle will be looking at notching consecutive wins for the second time this season when they host Peel Thunder in Round 15 of the WAFL.
The Sharks will need to take their intensity from last week into their match with the Thunder, who managed to get the win the last time the two sides met. In Round 3 this year, The Sharks led for much of the game, before Peel’s experienced side kicked away in the final minutes of the match.
There are a few changes to the squad this week with Jesse Adamini, Sean Fletcher, Ryan Lester-Smith, Jack Perham, Jeremy Sharp and Alex Montauban coming into the 25. If selected, Lester-Smith will play his first league game for the year, having missed almost 12 months through injury. Jeremy Sharp returns to the League side after being a member of the State 18s team that won the National Championship a few weeks back. Michael Tassone and Milan Murdock are out of the side through injury.
A win for the Reserves last week put them in good stead heading towards the finals, but there are only a few points separating several of the teams. A victory against Peel would help solidify their spot in the top 5.
Our Colts face a great challenge against the ladder leaders to start the day. Following the return of their State 18s players last week, the Sharks will be hoping to make it two wins in a row. Trent Rivers, Luke Jackson, Chad Warner, Michael Wright and Jai Jackson are some of the young players looking to continue their good form.
