The Sharks held our Season Launch last Thursday 12th March and announced the new leadership group, including Captain Rory O'Brien and Vice-Captain Andrew Stephen in their second year at the helm. East Fremantle put on an improved team performance against Perth in the Club’s final practice match for the pre-season.

On a humid and stormy Saturday afternoon, the Sharks did what they needed to do without losing any players to injury. Despite Perth finishing the game off strongly, the Sharks were good enough to hold on and defeat Perth 15.7 (97) to 10.7 (67).

After challenging 2014 season I was excited about the Colts' program and squad of 2015, with a number of players continuing with the experience and knowledge of what to expect. This was very apparent throughout the pre-season.  Players presented on the first night in great condition and have maintained that level since.

It’s been 6 months since we played our last game and it’s been a very busy off season for the Sharks.  We have been very active in reviewing our 2014 season: all players and staff were reviewed and given the opportunity to provide input as to how we can get better.
