Wednesday, October 30, 2024 - 10:35 AM

The East Fremantle Football Club announces that CEO Addy Wetzler will be stepping down from his position, effective Wednesday 30 October 2024, by mutual agreement with the Board.

Club President Mark Stewart said: "We thank Addy for his hard work, service, and contributions. After discussions, we’ve agreed that now is the right time for a change, and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.”

Outgoing CEO Addy Wetzler also expressed gratitude, stating: "It has been a privilege to lead the Club and to work with our wonderful staff, players, volunteers, members, sponsors and fans. While I was aware of some of the inherited challenges I was taking on, this has been an extraordinary year for the Club. I’m proud that we have navigated it and I am confident the Club is in a strong position for growth both on-field and off-field. I remain a Sharks fan and I’m looking forward to seeing the continued success of the Club."

General Manager Football Operations, Adrian Bromage, will step in as Acting CEO to ensure a smooth transition.

The Club extends its best wishes to Addy.
