SEMI FINAL SHOWDOWN – EVERYTHING ON THE LINE
Sunday 1:30PM – Steel Blue Oval
The stakes couldn’t be higher as East Fremantle head to Steel Blue Oval to take on Swan Districts in a do-or-die WAFLW Semi Final clash.
The equation is simple: win and stay alive, lose and the season ends. The winner will earn the right to face the loser of Claremont and Subiaco next week – and for two of the most competitive sides in the league, expect fireworks from the opening bounce.
The Sharks and Swans have split their past five encounters, with Swan Districts taking the honours last weekend in a low-scoring slog. But finals footy is a different beast, and East Fremantle will be confident they can turn the tables when it matters most.
While the Swans have been strong all season with 12 wins and a dominant percentage of 155.46, the Sharks are peaking at the right time and will look to bring their pressure, clean ball movement, and defensive grit into this season-defining battle.
ROGERS CUP: SHARKS READY TO BITE
Sunday 10:20AM – Revo Fitness Stadium
East Fremantle vs Claremont – Elimination Final
Before the main event, our Rogers Cup side will also be fighting to keep their finals dream alive when they take on Claremont in an early blockbuster.
Finishing the regular season with 12 wins and a powerful percentage of 191.74, East Fremantle’s young guns have been one of the standout teams of 2025. Their only loss against Claremont came in the opening rounds, and since then, they’ve stormed home with consistency and class.
With a strong record against the Tigers (8 wins from 9 meetings), the Sharks will look to stamp their authority early and prove why they’re genuine contenders in this finals series.
🦈 Two teams. Two huge games. One club.
Let’s rally behind the Blue and White as both our WAFLW and Rogers Cup squads go to battle. Finals footy is here – and the Sharks are ready.
