This Saturday marks a huge occasion for the East Fremantle Football Club as we host West Perth in our final home-and-away match of the 2025 season at The Good Grocer Park.
With 10 wins under our belt and a strong percentage of 109.63, the Sharks are locked in for a top finals push, but there’s still plenty to play for. A win this weekend not only helps us finish the season on a high, but gives us momentum as we head into September.
THE RIVALRY
East Fremantle and West Perth share a long and storied rivalry. Over 400 clashes, the Sharks hold the edge with 224 wins to West Perth’s 173. Our recent form against the Falcons has been dominant, winning four of the last five encounters — including a strong 13.16 (94) to 8.7 (55) victory earlier this year in Round 9.
SEASON STATS SNAPSHOT
Disposals: EF 329 | WP 324
Marks: EF 75 | WP 77
Goals Avg: EF 11 | WP 11
While the numbers are close, our forward efficiency and defensive resilience have been a standout this season — with a superior “points for” tally and lower “points against”.
ONE TO WATCH
Our midfield unit will be key again, dominating disposals and feeding the forward line with plenty of inside-50 entries. Expect the contest around the ball to be fierce — West Perth will come hungry, but we’re hungrier.
COLTS IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Before the main game, our Colts side will be playing for top spot on the ladder — a win will secure them the Minor Premiership, an outstanding reward for what has been a brilliant season. Get down early and show your support — this group represents the future of our club, and they’re on the brink of something special.
