A challenging afternoon at The Good Grocer Park saw East Fremantle split results across the grades, with the Colts producing a dominant win, while the Reserves and League sides were unable to halt a strong Perth outfit.

LEAGUE

Perth 11.12 (78) defeated East Fremantle 7.5 (47)

East Fremantle’s League side suffered a disappointing result on home soil, going down by 31 points despite periods where the Sharks were right in the contest.

The game was tightly poised early, with scores level at quarter time (2.1 apiece), before Perth began to gain ascendancy through the middle stages. The visitors led by seven points at the main break and extended that margin with a five-goal third quarter that proved decisive.

While the Sharks battled hard to the final siren, Perth’s ability to generate repeat opportunities and control territory made the difference.
