🦈 TAYA STRICKLAND TO MAKE HER MARK AT THE SHARKS!
East Fremantle Football Club is thrilled to welcome exciting utility Taya Strickland for the 2027 WAFLW season!
A creative playmaker with a proven eye for goal, Taya joins us from Perth with 31 goals from 27 WAFLW appearances. Perth’s leading goal kicker in 2025 with 14 majors, she backed that up with 11 goals in just nine matches in 2026.
Originally from Esperance, Taya began her WAFLW career at Subiaco and represented Western Australia at the 2024 AFL National Championships – U18 Girls. She now brings her attacking instincts and ability to create scoring opportunities to the blue and white.
We are excited to welcome Taya into a supportive environment, with a clear team structure that encourages her to play with freedom and express her natural ability. Backed by strong connections, culture and standards, we look forward to helping her take the next step in her football.
