Sharks to represent WA at State Level

Three East Fremantle players will play for the WA State team against Victoria on Saturday in Northam.
Steven Dodd

Rory O’Brien
and
Andrew Stephen
will once again pull on the yellow and black guernsey. All three players have represented at State level before, Dodd and Stephen in 2012, while Rory played in 2011. You can support the boys by heading to Northam for tomorrow’s game. Bounce Down is at midday. The game will also be shown on ABC TV in a delayed telecast from 2pm.

– 2013 will be Steven’s 3 rd state game after selection in 2004 and 2012
– The reigning Lynn Medallist, who will hopefully play his 100 th League match for the Sharks in 2013, will play as the third tall, versatile defender that he does so well for EFFC.
– Part of the EFFC leadership group
– Made his State debut in 2011, the same year in which he won the Lynn Medal
– Had an outstanding game back in that State Game at Rushton Park, against QLD/NT, picking up 33 possessions
– Will play in a strong midfield group, against an equally strong Victorian midfield.
– May see Rory used as a run with player
– Part of the EFFC leadership group
– State debut in 2012 against South Australia
– Has now played 76 games of League Football for EFFC
– Playing as small defender in Northam against a strong Victorian forward line
