East Fremantle Football Club is proud to unveil two significant leadership appointments ahead of the 2026 season, with Lisa O’Malley MLA confirmed as Club Patron and Paul Hasleby announced as our #1 Ticket Holder.

These appointments reflect the Sharks’ commitment to community leadership and football excellence, honouring both civic advocacy and elite football heritage.

Patron – Lisa O’Malley MLA

Member for Bicton since 2017, Lisa O’Malley has been a strong and consistent advocate for grassroots sport, inclusive community spaces and local infrastructure investment. Her support of the club’s open-access, community-first model at The Good Grocer Park aligns seamlessly with the direction of East Fremantle Football Club.

Lisa O’Malley MLA said:

“East Fremantle Football Club is an iconic part of our local community. Its commitment to participation, inclusion and connection is something I strongly believe in. I am honoured to serve as Patron and look forward to supporting the Sharks in 2026 and beyond.”

CEO Adrian Bromage welcomed Lisa’s appointment:

“Lisa understands the power of community sport. She has been a genuine supporter of our precinct vision and the broader role our club plays in bringing people together. We are delighted to welcome her as Patron.”

#1 Ticket Holder – Paul Hasleby

Few stories capture the East Fremantle pathway better than Paul Hasleby’s.

A proud Shark junior, Hasleby went on to enjoy a decorated AFL career, earning All-Australian honours and playing more than 200 games. Now back at East Fremantle in a coaching and development role, he continues to shape the next generation of Sharks talent.

Paul Hasleby said: “East Fremantle gave me my opportunity in football. To return in a coaching capacity and now serve as #1 Ticket Holder is incredibly special. This club has a proud past and an exciting future.”

Adrian Bromage said Hasleby represents the full Sharks journey:

“Paul embodies our pathway, from junior development to elite performance and now leadership. He represents everything this club stands for.”

As the Sharks prepare for 2026, these appointments reinforce a strong foundation, proud heritage, strong community advocacy and an exciting future ahead.
