Rd 10 Reserves Wrap Up
Author: East Fremantle Football Club

The East Fremantle Reserves returned to the winners list with a convincing 23 point win over 5th placed Peel Thunder on Saturday.
It was a tight contest throughout with both sides having periods of ascendancy before a 5 goal to 3 final term saw the Sharks pull away for the win.
It was a fiercely contested first half with both sides failing to capitalise on inside 50 opportunities, but the Sharks were the
ones kicking themselves at half time after kicking a wasteful 3.6, and missing some other golden scoring chances, to take a slender 3 point lead. It was another tight contest in the 3rd quarter with the Sharks kicking 2.3 to 1.2 to take a handy 10 point lead into the last. A Sam Medland goal in the first 2 minutes extended the lead before Peel responded to reduce the margin back to 9 points. But a 3 goal burst from Jacob Feist, Josh Schoenfeld and Nic Barton saw the margin balloon to 28 and the Sharks saw the game out to take home the 4 points.
Better players on the day were Ethan Paholski, who had 28 disposals, 7 clearances and kicked a goal, returning midfielder Josh Schoenfeld, who played his first game in 13 months and collected 27 disposals and kicked 2 goals, Nic Barton, who ran hard on his wing and had 24 disposals, 5 inside 50s and kicked a goal. Kyle White also played his part in the ruck after joining the club last week. The 198cm beanpole competed well against Fremantle listed Eric Benning, while having 27 hitouts and 8 disposals in a promising display.
The Sharks have the week off before tackling Subiaco at Leederville on July 9.
