Lynn Medallist declared and Vice Captain call times on a distinguished career
Author: East Fremantle Football ClubThe East Fremantle Football Club held our annual awards presentation on Saturday October 5 th where we announced the Lynn Medallist for season 2013 for the Club’s Fairest and Best Player.
The Lynn Medal was shared by two players in a tie; 2013 Sandover Medallist Rory O’Brien won his second Lynn Medal after previously being declared the winner in his first season at the Club, 2011, and he was joined by Andrew Stephen, becoming the first son of a Lynn Medallist to win the Award, following on from his father Peter in 1969.

Other News:
Vice Captain, Richard Hadley announced his retirement after 49 games with the Club from 2011 to 2013. Richard, who played 66 AFL Games with Brisbane and Carlton including the 2003 AFL Premiership with Brisbane Lions returned to East Fremantle in 2011 and has been a member of our leadership group since returning.
The East Fremantle Football Club is grateful that Richard returned to his Club of origin and he has been a much admired and valued player at the Club in the past three seasons and an outstanding leader and role model for his team mates.
