The East Fremantle Football Club is proud to announce that our Round 12 fixture against Claremont on Saturday, June 27 will be the club’s Kai Fella Foundation Match, a special game dedicated to raising awareness and support for mental health.
As part of this powerful initiative, our WAFL and Reserves teams will take the field in a unique guernsey featuring the names of 200 people. The initiative provides members, supporters and the wider community the chance to honour a loved one, friend or family member who has experienced their own mental health journey. This will serve as a powerful visual reminder that mental health affects many within our community and that no one faces it alone.
The Round 12 clash promises to be a significant occasion at The Good Grocer Park, with supporters encouraged to come down and be part of an afternoon of football with a meaningful cause at its heart.
Following the match, the match-worn playing guernseys will also be auctioned, with proceeds contributing additional funds to the Kai Fella Foundation while also supporting the football club.
The Sharks encourage all members and supporters to get down to The Good Grocer Park on June 27 to support the cause and cheer on the blue and white in what promises to be a special afternoon of football.
