The East Fremantle Football Club is proud to announce the appointment of Tiani Teakle as the 2026 WAFLW Captain.

A respected and valued member of the Sharks, Teakle has consistently demonstrated strong leadership both on and off the field, embodying the club’s core values. Her appointment is a reflection of her positive influence across the playing group and unwavering commitment to the club’s success.

Teakle said it was an honour to be appointed captain of such a proud and historic club.

“It’s a privilege to lead this team,” Teakle said. “We have an incredible group of players and staff who are driven to achieve something special this season. I’m excited to take on this role and represent East Fremantle with pride.”

The Club also congratulates Amber Kinnane, Jae Flynn, Noa McNaughton, and Anjelique Raison, who will form part of the 2026 leadership group, providing strong support throughout the season.
