The 2026 East Fremantle Futures Program has wrapped up, marking a highly successful and rewarding campaign.
From day one, the focus was on developing not just footballers, but teammates who understood the standards, habits, and mindset required in a high-performance environment. Across the program, the growth in this group was clear with players embracing the expectations, showing strong training habits, and taking ownership of their development.
A key pillar was building our Brand. A style of footy driven by defensive intent, connection, and purposeful ball movement. As the weeks progressed, this identity came to life. The group showed an ability to set the ground up, apply pressure, and move the ball with clarity and cohesion, producing consistent performances. While development remained the priority, the results reflected the group’s commitment. The team finished the program undefeated, winning all seven games. Providing further validation of the standards and habits the players drove throughout.
Beyond team success, individual development was also recognised, with 12 players earning selection into the State Squad. This is a fantastic achievement and a clear indication of both the talent within the group and the strength of the program. We wish those players all the best as they represent at the upcoming carnival.
A big thank you to our coaches, support staff, and families for their ongoing support and contribution.
Overall, the 2026 Futures Program has been a strong representation of what can be achieved through connection, commitment, and a shared vision in development and performance.
