The East Fremantle Football Club proudly celebrated the achievements of its players, coaches, volunteers and staff at the 2025 Lynn Medal and WAFLW Fairest & Best Awards Night — a night that highlighted excellence across all levels of the Sharks football programs.
Milan Murdock puts his name in the history books
Star midfielder Milan Murdock continued to cement his place in East Fremantle history, claiming his third Lynn Medal as the Club’s League Fairest & Best.
This remarkable achievement sees Murdock join East Fremantle greats Jack Clarke, Stephen Malaxos, Vic French, Martin Mellody and Rory O’Brien as three-time winners of the prestigious award.
He now sits in third place on the all-time leaderboard, behind club legends Jack Sheedy and Brian Peake, both with four Lynn Medals to their names.
Murdock’s 2025 season was a model of consistency and leadership, highlighted by dominant midfield performances that guided the Sharks through another competitive WAFL campaign.
Brooke Repacholi Crowned WAFLW Fairest & Best
In the WAFLW program, Brooke Repacholi capped off a brilliant season by taking out the 2025 WAFLW Fairest & Best Award.
Her skill, composure and leadership shone across the year, driving East Fremantle to another strong season in the competition.
Emerging talents Madison Evans and Maya Louvel-Finn rounded out the top three, finishing second and third respectively — a testament to the exciting young talent developing within the Sharks’ women’s program.
Elijah Burrows Claims Henry Jeffery Medal
In the Reserves competition, Elijah Burrows produced an outstanding season to secure the Henry Jeffery Medal as the Reserves Fairest & Best.
Burrows’ consistency, effort, and impact on the contest stood out week after week, showcasing his readiness for higher honours.
Club & Special Awards
The evening also recognised the invaluable contributions of individuals who make the East Fremantle Football Club what it is both on and off the field.
Volunteer of the Year: Angelo Cuccovia — honoured for his tireless dedication and service to the Sharks community.
Men’s Shark of the Year: Ashton Warner
Women’s Shark of the Year: Amber Kinnane
Both Warner and Kinnane were celebrated for their leadership, club spirit, and significant contributions both on and off the field.
Rising Stars of the Future
Youth development was another key highlight of the night, showcasing the strength of the Sharks’ pathway programs:
Men’s Rising Star: Mitch Zadow
Women’s Rookie of the Year: Cienna Leslie
Both players demonstrated maturity beyond their years, leaving Sharks fans excited about the future of the Club.
