SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE ROLE OF GROUND MANAGER - 2013

The East Fremantle Football Club is seeking expressions of interest from anyone who may be interested in taking on the role of Ground Manager for 2013.
The WAFL Ground Manager represents the WAFL and must ensure that the event runs according to WAFL regulations.  
The following is a brief summation of the duties required to perform as a WAFL Ground Manager
To ensure both teams and umpires understand the format and timings of the day, particularly for special events. This would include the supervision of team banners, coin toss, special guests and the positioning of teams for particular functions.
To brief and work closely with security staff. 
To meet with the delegated person from both teams and the nominated Umpire prior to the commencement of the first game of the day at the venue to complete the ground assessment form. Each group represented must sign their consent to play on the oval and that all necessary safety requirements are met.
To ensure that the following staff are in position, suitably equipped and carry out their roles as per WAFL rules
o Timekeeper
o Interchange Steward
o Scoreboard attendant
o Umpire Security
o Team Managers
o Ground PA
To ensure that at ¼ and ¾ time the teams huddle in the allocated positions on the ground and that no person enters the centre square. This should be done in conjunction with the Umpire security and the ground PA.
To assist the Umpire security at ½ and full time in escorting the Umpires from the ground
To complete a match report to be forwarded to the WAFL at the conclusion of the event.
