Round 16 Preview // Swan Districts
East Fremantle will be boosted by the return of some seasoned players ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Swan Districts.
Captain Jamie McNamara looks set to make his long-awaited return, having played only four games this season; his last against the Swans. Following a successful return to the Development League last week, George Hampson is also a likely inclusion.
The number of East Fremantle debutants could rise to 18 if Michael Cronan runs out tomorrow. Cronan played two years in colts before progressing to the senior side in 2016. Registering only 8 games last year, Cronan hasn’t missed a match for the Development League this season, continually learning and developing his ruck role as well as managing four goals.
Into the 25 also comes James Harrold and Sean Henson to replace the injured Tim Bristow and Lachy Bailey.
It will be a tough game for the Sharks, with the Swans desperate to keep their finals hopes alive but the mix of experience and youth will serve EFFC well.
Both the Development League and Colts returned to the winners circle last week and will aim for back to back wins to cement their positions inside the top 5 heading towards the end of the season.
