Sharks Women into Prelims
East Fremantle Women’s Football Club take on the Coastal Titans this Sunday in what is shaping up to be two fierce Preliminary Finals at Lathlain Park.
Both League and Reserves divisions feature the Sharks vs the Titans. The Sharks head into the game as underdogs having not beaten the Titans this year in either grade, but it certainly won’t deter them.
In the League division, the two teams last met in round 12, when the Titans walked away with a three-goal win.
The Sharks started their finals campaign in style last Sunday, thrashing cross-town rivals South Fremantle, who had beaten them by a single goal just two weeks before.
A win for the Sharks would see them facing off against Swan Districts, who advanced straight to the grand final after their semi final win.
The Reserves side progressed into the preliminary finals with a strong 42-point win against the Perth Angels.
The Titans have won all encounters with the Sharks this year, but recent performances show that East Fremantle shouldn’t be underestimated.
The winner will play Joondalup in the Grand Final on the 28th of August.
