On Tuesday morning, August 31st, Mick Jez, former player, current President of the Past Players & Officials and long time servant of the East Fremantle Football Club was announced as the East Fremantle recipient of the ‘Good Guys’ Award for 2010 at the Football Budget Awards Breakfast.

Congratulations Mick it was well deserved

The Good Guys media release regarding Mick, stated the following:

“Mick makes an outstanding contribution to East Fremantle, Mick played with the club and we are fortunate that after his playing days he returned to the club as a volunteer.  He is president of the past players and officials and has done a tremendous amount of work in oval and facilities maintenance and in match day and event catering.

As leader of the past players, Mick is responsible for raising funds for the club and is always the first person to put his hand up to help the club or district.  He is a tireless servant of the club and district and a selfless individual who has earned the respect and gratitude of the football fraternity"
